About the Painting:
Gulf coast sunsets have to be my favorite part of living in Florida! St Petersburg is such a gem and I have loved living in this area for the past five years. This painting is inspired from a gorgeous photograph of the sun setting on St Pete beach. Brilliant purples and oranges reflect from sky to water creating a sight to remember. Loose, impressionistic brushstrokes create movement and texture.
